A painted iron lighthouse that sticks out of the roof of a granite walled house. It was built in 1867 and is the fourth lighthouse on this site. The lighthouse is located on Sandy Point at the north end of Block Island and is owned by the town. The grounds are open to the public, but not the tower. A 20-minute walk from the end of Corn Neck Road is required to get there.
