I'd been meaning to get back to this place, but I usually get Chinese at my other two favorite places. This mid-sized restaurant is located in a small shopping plaza in sixteen acres. Easy to find and lots of parking. The place is very nice inside with a sushi bar and plenty of tables. They serve both Chinese and Japanese cuisine. This time my friend and I only tried the Chinese items, so I'll write another review when I try the Japanese food. We got the seafood hot & sour soup, the pu pu platter, peking duck, ten ingredient fried rice, and Neptune's Blessing. The peking duck was very good, as was the house friend rice. Neptune's blessing was good, but could have used more white sauce. The seafood soup was good and was quite spicy (as noted in the menu). The crab rangoons were very good, the chicken fingers small but good, the beef sticks and barbeque spare ribs were ok (not great), and the spring rolls needed improvement (I didn't like them). All in all the food was above average. The service was excellent. Our waiter was very polite and accomodating. I will definitely be back. Update: 2011-05-23 New Rating: 4.5 Consistently good food. My only complaints are that the prices are a bit high and they don't have dinner combinations on their menu like most Chinese restaurants. Let me comment on a few menu items here: sizzling beef and scallops with an ordinary brown sauce -- excellent; chicken & eggplant -- good; chicken & cashews -- very good; wonton soup -- good but very small; chicken wings -- excellent, very crispy Submit your own review |
